I came across a guy that had engineered a coolant system to fit on the seatbacks on is Dodge Status after a sticky trip across Arizona and Nevada he was going to try and sell the Idea to Chrysler... Don't suppose he had any luck there?

Yes but this was not a fan but an AC adaptation.. the Idea being its easyier to cool a human body that blowing cold air in the face?
Try Googling air conditioned seats, they are available on lots of luxury cars including Mercedes.
