Lebaron Convertible Squeaks - Not after rain

We have a 1992 Lebaron Convertible.

Normally it squeaks all the time. Push on the front end SQUEAK, push on the back end SQUEAK, jump up and down on the sides SQUEAK.

Mechanics have looked it over a lubed it but still SQUEAK. They claim it is not mechanical however when we drive down the road SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAK and lots of heads turning.

However, after a good rain the squeaking stops for a few days.

Anyone know what this is and what I need to do to permenently fix the SQUEAK

Thanks

Front sway bar bushings, front upper strut pivot-mounts, also possible broken front spring.

Rear suspension trailing arm captive tubular sway bar broken at one end weld.

Front and rear squeaks singing a capella.

Yup.

New front strut mounts and front inner and outer sway bar bushings. Carefully inspect springs and struts while they're out for replacement of strut mounts -- if springs are broken or rusty; if struts are old, replace all.

Rear fix is more expensive/involved: Cut out original poorly-welded tubular sway bar located inside inverted-U transverse channel of rear suspension trailing arm assembly. Cut bar of solid round spring steel to correct length. Weld in place.

No more squeak, much better handling.
