Pacifica problems ?

We are considering the Pacifica, but are sort of hesitant in getting a first year model. Any comments on major/minor problems with this car ? Thanks Zork

We bought our Pacifica AWD on August 29 and it now has 4,600 miles on it. Overall we are very pleased and happy with this vehicle but, as you have asked for major/minor comments about it, here is my input:

Major - 1) Mileage is not as good as I think it should be. Other posters have made this same comment. 2) Rear visibility could be better - it is difficult to see when backing up. Other posters have made this same comment.

Minor - 1) The drivers floormat has to be replaced as the grommet (plastic) has pulled out. 2) The passenger seatback motor overloads and stops so a circuit or something else has to be replaced. 3) Parking break release is placed poorly so one must really reach far to release the brake.

Would these problems stop me from buying one if I were reconsidering ? NO! This is the fourth Chrysler we have purchased new. The quality is superior to the others (which was not that bad) and I recommend this vehicle very highly.
