He brought Home Depot "thinking inside the box" to Chrysler.

What he needs is leadership like Chrysler had in the 80s & 90S to flush out the Dalimer stain on Chrysler's vehicle packaging. IMO Chryslers mechanical design is fine, except for a lack of electrical & hybrid versions and no up to date smaller than mid sized models.

In those days past Chrysler's products were very practical tasteful styling and suited a large audience. Dalimer put Chrysler cars into a truck box.
