I did the timing belt and water pump on the 3.0 in my 88 New Yorker. Buy a complete new waterpump from Chrysler dealer rather than a partial pump from a local parts store. Worth the extra $10. If you have never done one of these expect to spend at least a full day on the job. In my situation all accessories had to come off the engine (PS pump. AC. alternator, etc.), the engine had to be jacked dup and supported from underneath and the engine / mounts / plates removed to get to the timing belt cover. The job isn't terrible difficult in my 88 K-Car based New Yorker, just a pain in the butt to have to take ALL the stuff off the engine to finally get to what you want to work on.
