Does anyone know where under the dash the opening is for the in-cabin air filter ? The chiltons book is vague.

Directly under the glove box housing mounted into the heater box. If you were to point your toes straight up on the passenger front seat you would touch it. Keep in mind all vehicle don't have this filter.
