I don't think you need to spend the money for an appraiser to look at that. Get a current copy of a collector car price guide at any large news stand and look it up. They rate cars from number 1 condition ( absolutely perfect and never driven ) to number 5 ( almost total junk ) and give average prices for every condition as well as add ons for options, etc. I'd work from that and if you get turned down too many times then you know you are asking too much for it. If you arent selling it and want to insure it then thats a different story but don't expect it to be worth big money in the condition you describe unless it's a Nascar optioned Merc or some other strange and rare car. Note also that an appraiser will give a number based on what he actually sees at the time, not what you tell him it might be like some day in the future.
