The body panel outboard of the battery, forward of the door should come off easily. Bolt on top, bolt underneath and the screws inside the fender.

you need a 10mm open ended wrench to get the panel off, a torx bit of the correct size for the screws inside the fender, a small wrench that fits the battery posts, and a socket wrench with an extension to get to the battery tiedown bolt on the lower rear of the battery.

the thinnest one available. Or, buy the least expensive and have it ground of filed down to slide between the bottom of the panel and the rail. -- pj
