Sounds like this affects several models (cars and trucks) with the V-6 and automatic, and another affects Dodge diesels.

"Chrysler recall affects 583,000 vehicles

The Chrysler group is recalling nearly 600,000 cars and light trucks because they may roll away when parked.

In one group are about 300,000 vehicles with six-cylinder engines and automatic transmissions built for the 2005 model year. The affected models are Chrysler 300; Dodge Magnum, Dakota and Durango; and Jeep Liberty and Wrangler. Dealers are to install a bracket to ensure that the park pawl anchor shaft operates properly, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said last week.

In a separate action, the Chrysler group said it is installing alarms in about 283,000 Dodge Ram pickups with diesel engines and automatic transmissions built for the 2003-05 model years. The alarms will warn motorists if they have not properly shifted into park before exiting the trucks. The company says it has not identified a particular defect in the vehicles."
