Don't know about price, but will the tires you spec's give you a heay enough load range?
they are D but they are rated at 3000#. if i go with the more narrow tire i get the E rating at 3042# and would require i run the 6.5" OEM wheel (im runnin the 7.5" OEM wheel). i dont see 42# difference being enough to worry about for the duty this truck

It is important to note that load range letters (such as 'D' above) are a bit arbitrary, and do not represent a standard in any way. They are only meaningful comparing tires from the same maker, in the same model line.
The meaningful data is the pounds/KG load rating (that Nathan shows) which is something one can compare with.
