blower motor

I have a 2002 Dakota and the blower motor has the typical symptoms of only working on High speed. Anyone have an idea where the resister pack is on that truck?

The 2000 model year Chrysler manual says that it's inside the cowl, on the passenger side of the firewall (under the hood). I assume the 2002 is similar since they are both second generation.

It's under the cowl panel passenger side. Remove wiper arms, remove cowl panel and it's tucked up underneath with two small bolts holding it in place.

I appreciate the help but I'm glad a took a look around first, the resistor pack on my 2002 Dodge Dakota would be just above a passengers left foot up under the dash in back of the glove box. SRN, thanks for the effort put forth but I can't image how anything on an 2000 Chrysler would relate to a

2002 Dodge Dakota and Steve, I'm not sure what 2002 Dodge Dakota you looked at but mine certainly is not under the cowl below the windshield wipers. Details for location are here:

Yes, on my 02 Dakota R-T thats where it was too. Not too hard to replace, I think they were metric 9 or 10 size nuts holding in the resistor...needed a swivel type extension for one of the nuts to get a good grip on it. I had ordered my resistor from Integrity chrysler in Nevada....I think its still a dealer item only part.
