OD problems after alarm problems

FYI>>I found out something interesting. If you have over drive problems and just got through with some alarm problems (aftermarket alarm ) you might want to check your starter relay. It seems that dodge ram with after market alarms (if you experience problems with your overdrive not working wright after alarm problems) when the key is on there is a 3-5 volt draw on the sense wire going to the neutral switch(after market alarms insert a relay in the yellow wire coming from the steering column). The PCM sees the voltage draw and thinks the trans has no need for fourth gear overdrive. go to hppt://dodgeram.org/tech/repair/electric/alarm.My dodge has 4th od now.Along with putting the oversize tires back the the stock tires.
