Hi! I just bought a used Punto, it's SX with 1.2Engine only 8V! Anyways it only has 8000km on it but one thing I started noticing!! When I would stop, park whatever I would put it into neutral and without pressing throttle something starts to happen, Punto does that for me, somehow revs go from usual 900rev/min to some 2000revs!!!!!!! First time it happend I didn't know what to do, but than I pressed accelator pedal/throttle just a bit and revs went to 900revs! Than it happend few more times! The reason this worries me is that now I think when I drive on a empty road and see a stoplight ahead of me some 300 meters I put it into 3rd or 2nd gear and without thinking I expect the car to gradualy slow down but what can happen is that car can start accelaraing and if Im not cautios..... well! Do you have any experiences similar to mine with Puntos! What went broke!!??
