that had a 427 in a thirdgen. He had a web page that listed what had to be done to get one in. He mentions headers in there.

Aint no way your gonna get a T-5 to live behind a 427, or any other big block. The torque at part throttle at low RPM's will be enough to destory the input shaft.

Fitting a Big Block in to a third gen is not for the novius. Nor is it inexpensive. So unless you plan on shelling out big bucks to pay someone to do it, leave the pipe dream behind. Charles
