Having trouble with brake lights!!

well i have replaced the brakelight bulb and it works but only when you brake without having the headlights on. if the head lights are on the brakelights wont turn on. what can be wrong....... all help will be greatly appreciated

Check ALL the bulbs. I have seen some funky things happen with bad bulbs!

Beyond that, it seems like an errant ground/wiring issue. Get a wiring diagram for it and check your circuits carefully.

had the same problem. the ground wire inside the actual socket where the bulb goes in gets melted and the plastic arounding it impeads the contact. so loook inside your light bulb socket and youll see what i mean.
