Holley Contender

At the swap meet I traded another vender a Poncho Perfomer intake for a SBC Holley Contender for my 85 T/A. Which I thought would be cool. Yet part number wise, I can not tell if it's the low or mid rise version, and I don't have the specs for either.

On the bottom of the intake it has two part numbers.

I think I will have enough hood clearance with the Harwood bolt on cowl hood, but it may effect carb selection if it is a mid rise. Any one have the specs for this intake? Charles

Call Holley and they will tell you. I contacted them for some of the items that were on the 80 Parts car that someone gave me (had some "performance" goodies on it when it was given to me) and they were helpful.

I E mailed them. They sent me a link (with username and password) to their tech question website. I posted on there, and have not gotten an answer.

I may call them if I don't get an aswer with in 7 days. Charles

The part that confuses me is it looks like a Street Dominator (more then the current contender intakes) has one of the same part numbers as a street dominator, only has square flange, yet has contender cast atop it. Charles

They finally e mailed me back. Telling me it's the current Street Dominator Intake. Which uses one of the same part numbers.

Now knowing what I have Im going to sand blast it, and prep it for installation. Charles
