They've got tons of them around here, but then, I'm only 35 miles from Detroit, so that's sort of a given. ;)
No test drive notes as yet, as I don't much care for the fastback...I'm waiting for the coupe before I get really hyped-up enough to actually test one out. d:^)
Good thing they're not in a rush to compete with the new Mustang, eh? Ford's taking the reigns on this one, folks....damned shame...GM just dropped the ball, IMHO...and in a HUGE way!
I'm having a hard time thinking about buying another GM product. Sell the 3 Camaro's I own and move over to ford I guess way to go GM (losers). I used to be an avid Chevy fanatic now I share the same opinion. No real factory support for any motorsports other then Nascar's big name shooters :( GM supposedly doesn't condone the racing community. But lets give Jay Leno a special LS2 427 to pu tinto a ... What the hell was that a Riviara a fricken oldsmobile Toronado!! him lets pick a bigger and uglier car! Jesus. Look at ford on Extreme home makeover giving cars away... Running the SVT, shelby with the GT-40 and Cobra cars and a couple of other programs to support the racing community... Sorry rant/vent on GM's philosophy oh and what is up with the new slogan - "An American Revolution" pathetic. I'm done now sorry for the rude opinion and dissapointment in GM guys.
I heard the same thing, with the exception that the yeaar was 2008 in "my version."
I've got a few buds who drive for the big 3 (parts runners back and forth across the border) and who hit almost all of the major US and Canadian plants at one time or another over the course of any given month, and they're usually right about 60% of the time with the jabber they overhear in their travels...but in this case, I'll wait until I see it.
Hmmmm...I DID hear about the new 'Stang through those guys, though I laughed it off at the time, that is the thing that I really wanted to hear.
If they do bring back a real Camaro at some point in the future, I hope I haven't already jumped ship and gone back to Mustangs, for GM's sake, anyway...
