Since I just managed to lock my radio about an hour ago, this information is quite timely, however...

Trying both 202107 and/or 292785 gives me an "invalid account number message.

Does anyone have a good number they would consider sharing? or do I have my head up my behind (likely)

mail to hallktm at yahoo .com if preferable

or if someone would care to look up 032 038 ....

TIA

Please raise your head, for I do not know if this process works. Press and hold presets 2 & 3 for about 10 seconds until the first 3 didgits on the display code are displayed. Write the numbers down. Press th AM/FM buton, write down the next 3 numbers. Call 1-800-537 5140, when asked, enter 202107, press the # button and enter the 6 digit from the radio, you will get an unlock code. Write it down. Go back to the car, press the HR button and set the first two numbers, than press minute button and set the the next two last numbers, press AM/FM button. SEC should be displayed, turn on radio. To remove customers codes, repeat step 5, you should see-on radio face- this code is now out of the radio. I do not have a clue if this works. Got the info from snipped-for-privacy@aol.com Give it a try - my best response!

I have tried. The radio returns codes 032 and 038.

The number 202107 is apparently a "dealer code", at least in part. The first number (2) is for the kind of dealer, - 2 is Pontiac. They also request that the input be followed by an asterisk, and not a pound sign.

So apparently I need a valid dealer code to proceed. I assume the old code may have been flagged as compromised.

Bingo!

I'm at work. Will have to go home to see if the unlock code works,

Thanks for the information! Very much appreciated.

Now I have a new question on the PassKey. I'll throw it up on a different thread.. Probably been covered a million times here already.

Thanks again.
