Joe is correct in his assessment of the problem- alot of these parts are junk, your GM supplier offers the best quality, but with a higher price tag. Some non essential parts can be had by aftermarket retailers - your choise to make. Hope this helps.

Not always. Sometimes, with the right connection, GM parts are CHEAPER than the repops. And, a lot of the repop companies buy from each other.

A set of door strips for a 1979 Firebird run you $85 from Metro Rubber. The same set is $35 at Steele. Guess whos part Steele buys? LOL
