seatbelt question (another one)

Does anyone have experience of replacing the rear lap belts with proper over-shoulder seatbelts (85 Trans Am) Any advice appreciated thanks david

I believe GM used to have kits to do that. Check a 82-92 parts book to see if they show the part numbers. Have any GM dealer look through the parts book. It's likely under "non production" accessories in the front of the book. Get a part # and have them see if it's still available. If not, see if they can do a search with other dealers to see who might have one.

You're looking for a VERY rare and arcane option/setup that no one really ordered or asked for. I'm not even 100% sure the F car had it, but I had seen part #s listed for other GM cars.
