Stupid production question

I was wondering if there is a way to find out how many cars with certain options there were.. such as I know there were only 13,475 Formulas in '88.. but am wondering how many had the options that mine does, and if so how many remain. Just wondering.

Pick up a copy of High Performance Pontiac at any large news stand. There is a compnay called Pontiac Historical Documents (?) that will provide you a copy of the original dealer's invoice. It costs around $35.00. Well worth the money when trying to verify an old Pontiac is what it is. There is a cut off in years, maybe 1993, can't recall. But, its detailed in their ad.

Take care.

The company referred to here is Pontiac Historical Services who owns GM's archives and the rights to sell them/answer questions on them. They may not know your specific question but you can ask.

and if so how many

RL Polk registration data should tell you that. It will probably only say how many vin code E 305's are still registered. Go to the Barnes and Noble web site and search for the Firebird Red Book. It is just like the Camaro White Book except it carries all the info for Firebirds, including RPO codes and the quantities for a given year of the options.
