I just had new shocks and tires installed on my '95 Ex along with 4 wheel alignment. Immediately there was a shuddering in the steering when turning right, that seems to be reducing by itself. The service manager says that he recalls that in some years of the Explorer when they are put on the rack they can get air in the power steering fluid and this may be cause. I have never heard of this before.
In a couple cases when stopping while turning right, the steering wheel seemed to oscillate for a bit. Is this consistent with air in the PS fluid?
Thanks, Dave
