Hello. I have a 1998 AWD 5.0 Explorer and when taking off from a stop, there'll be a loud, hard clunk from the drivetrain underneath the drivers seat. It only happens if I get on the gas abruptly. It sounds like it's coming from the transfercase or PTU (??) Once at speed, the noise goes away. Do I need a new transfer case? A friend of mine suggested that I change all drivetrain fluids first. Any ideas? Thanks.
