How about the vacuum lines?
Makes sure that the brake lights are working properly, that the cable is hooked up at the throttle linkage and at the actuator... and that the horn and speedometer both work, too. These are the simple checks that can be made.... if the problem isn't apparent after these steps, let us know and we can get a little more detailed.
