Hazed plastic lens on headlights

I have a 95 Explorer, over time the plastic lens on the headlights and front parking lights have become hazed. I was watching the TV show Crank & Chrome one day and they were showing this product that does the job, but I can't remember what it was. I tried to go to their web site but no luck finding anything. I have seen plastic polishes for plexi-glass on the shelves at auto part stores, but can someone recommend the best product for the job that they have used . I don't want to buy something that's not really going to work.

Well there's a product called "Nicsand" that is supposed to work for it, but what I use is just good old white paste polishing compound .

I use my cordless drill fitted with a foam pad. Then I smear some compound on the lens, and on the pad. I *slightly* dampen the pad, and go to work. Only takes a few minutes before they are crystal clear again.

In fact I just restored the lights on my 96, and the look absoloutely NEW ! and mine were so bad, you almost couldn't tell the lights were on at night ...
