My '93 sport has some issues....

Hi everyone,

I've turned to this newsgroup for help in the past and have found it to be a great resource. I need help with about 3 or so problems so here they are:

How do you adjust the headlights so that they arn't pointing up to the sky...

I had a new tranny put in about a year and 8 months ago. The car has developed a (kinda) loud rumble/vibration when I put my foot into the gas, especially in 3rd or 4th. If I let up on the gas a little the vibration goes away, or once I get above a certian RPM it goes away.

The check engine light comes on when I am going up hills on the highway between 55 and 68 mph in 5th and sometimes even in 4th at slightly lower speeds. The light only comes on when I have been driving for a while (20-30min or more) and only stays on for about

30sec through a 1min. Sometimes when going up a hill there is a strange (ticking/grinding/gear) type of noise that seems to come from the transmission. At first I thought it was enging pinging, but the mechanic couldn't find anything wrong, and it doesn't seem to be coming from the engine.

My thought is that the transmission needs to be screwed in tighter, but I don't know exactly what is up. The check engine light baffles me. I suppose I would have to have a code reader hooked up the the car during the time that the light comes on to know what it is trying to tell me. I've got about 107k miles on it, and about 8k on the new tranny.

The computer should store the fault code even if the MIL goes off. Check the computer for codes.
