Results after I changed my A4LD vacuum modulator. HELP!!

History.... 94 explorer XLT, 118,000 on A4LD tranny. I changed the modulator because it was leaking tranny fluid. NOT thru the vacuum line but it was a bad seal and was leaking onto the ground from the modulator. Well I got in the truck to take it for a test spin and the first time out it was perfect, that was till the tranny warmed up. Once warmed up it started slipping badly in all gears, reverse as well. I got it home as quick as possible and checked my work. I have the modulator, pin and spool all put together correctly, vacuum line has no leaks and is connected properly at the modular and the oqtopus valve thingy. I even went as far as putting the old modulator back in but nothing is making any difference now. It just sits and revs out very high and then clunks into gear, every gear including reverse. So here I am scanning thru the forums trying to find an answer to this problem. The tranny ran out strong and shifted very good till I changed out the modulator. Like I said I only changed it because it had a bad O ring and was leaking fluid onto the ground and I was getting tired of topping the fluid off every few weeks. Any body have any ideas or insight to what might be causing this problem??? I am open for suggestions. The truck is parked till I can get to the bottom of this. Thanks much, dubs66
