Roof-Top Cargo Carrier for '96 Explorer

I have been rooked into camping with both of my oldest daughter-units and find that the back cargo area doesn't have enough room for all the equipment needed and foods. I am looking to supplement that space with a cargo carrier for the roof. Are there any manufacturers (and their specific models) I should be looking to for this? Also, is this an item where you get what you pay for (quality clamps, extra cargo space, design)?

Ideally, I would need it to hold five Coleman flannel sleeping bags, the foam pads for sleeping on, and all our fishing gear; something (I'm guessing) 52" X 24" X 24".

Many thanks for any leads and recommendations/endorsements.

I just bought a rack for my new truck. The "Rack-it" brand is one of the best. I bought it at Campways on El Camino, near Rengstorff in Mountain View. The were recommended to me by Michael at Zucatto's Auto Care (who I also highly recommend). The people at Campways were very good. I worked with Drew, and the other guy (whose name I can't remember right now to save my life (and he'll be disappointed)). They have a lot of smaller roof racks inside the store.

The stuff they sell is very good quality. Its a place where you get what you pay for. I also got a camper shell, door steps and a trailer hitch. I'm happy with it all.
