Posting for my in-laws.
4.6l having trouble with the *service engine* light. This car is what the dealers are calling a *California* car because of all the emission crap. Nobody here wants to deal with it. This car has 4 catalytic converters that are ruined due to a gas build up problem. What, if anything, can be done to turn this beast into a *Missouri* car. Thanks.-- jeff wald
Take it to a Lincoln/Mercury dealer, a '92 should still be under warranty. As to how to make it into a *Missouri* car, you might try adding a gun rack, some NASCAR stickers and confederate flag
