1978 Granada

S Merryfield,

Sell it to your mechanic for $4,500.00 and let him sell it for 5-6K. I suspect some puffery here, as I am unaware of any 6 cylinder 1978 Ford with "immense power"... the 5.0 (302) V-8 in that car was only rated at about 131 HP that year in the Granada. I think the 250 CID six was like 98 or 101 HP... any mods on your engine?

I have 1978 Ford Granada special edition (I think).

2-door sedan. Interior is in good shape with just a little fading. Mileage is 55,000 Brand new exhaust system, new tires, new paint. The AC works. 6 cylinder engine with immense power.

This car looks great, runs great - everything. My mechanic tells me I could sell it for $5,000.00-6,000.00.

I am asking $4,500.00. The less hassle the better.

Please pass this on to anyone you think might be interested.

I would have you send me some photos, but spammers would send me 50 ads for Viagra. Post a link to some photos.

Where in the USA are you?

A 78 Granada isn't worth anything even close to $4500 despite the faded interior and that IMMENSELY powerful 6 cylinder engine. Bob

Right now there's a Pinto on ebay with a starting bid of $4000. We were laughing about it on the Pinto mailing lists.

The thing actually got a bid, but we figure the bid was made by a shill working for the seller.
