1990 Escort GT, Caster Issue

I just had a four wheel alignment done today because the car was responding badly when on braking. It drifts to the driver's side and then over to the passenger side. It still does it some after it was aligned, but not as bad as it was before.

The manager said the Caster measurements came in at Left 3.28 and Right

1.26. This is set at the factory so there isn't really anything he could about it with the normal alignment systems they use.

The specs for my care are Limits +1.57 to +3.17, desired +2.32. I'm out of spec on both sides with about a 2 degree difference (+3.28 and

+1.26).

Anything I should look at? New tires are only a few months old. I replaced the lower control arms a few months ago to pass inspection for loose ball joints.

Thanks, Matt

can you define a little better?

Is it to the left when brakes applied and to right when released?

Or to left and then to right with continual braking?

Or a drift at initial brake, then straight. then right on release

Hum... yeah, could be that... but I bet you find the rear cylinder on driver side has leaked and/or shoes are contaminated.
