Help !!!! 1994 F150 6cyl 139K miles Check engine light comes on and engine misses bad, the transmission won't shift and the overdrive switch won't work or light up, gray foul smelling smoke out of the exhaust, there also is no electrical noise on the am band of radio. After awhile the light either goes out by itself or by turning off the ignition and all is well again even the electrical noise on the radio. The problem is that every where I have taken it to the diagnostic monitor won't read the codes if the chk engine light is on and when it goes out it will read that all codes have been cleared. Anyone have solution?
