2001 Ford Expedition stalling out

I have a 2001 Expedition that has about 60,000 miles on it. I just had new brakes put on and it passed inspection two days ago.

I started messing up a couple of days ago and now it takes about 20 minutes to get started and then if you have to stop while driving, it dies on you. I don't know what it could be. Any suggestions or anyone that has had the same thing happen? It acts like it is having a hard time getting gas. Please Help!!

A little more explanation would be useful. I can't imagine that you are cranking the truck for 20 minutes, so what do you mean when you say it takes

20 minutes to get started? Does it start and die repeatedly? If so, I'd suspect a sticky IAC (Idle Air Control). The part is less than $100 and is easy to replace. Usually cleaning it will correct the problem. It is a 1.5 inch diameter x 4 inch long chrome plated cylindrical objected bolted to the intake manifol via a flange with two screws. It has an elecrtical connector on one end.

Where are yoiu getting the idea that a 2001 Ford Expedition has two fuel pumps? The only fuel pump is the one in the tank. There are two filters of a sort. There is a screen / sock (filter) on the intake in the tank and then a real filter in the fuel supply line. For a 2001 Expedition this is located in the back near the tank.
