SUMMARY: THROTTLE BODY LINKAGE "PLASTIC COVER CLAMSHELL" CRACKED IN HALF AT PLASTIC HINGE (OXIDIZED PLASTIC) . LOOSE PLASTIC COVER WEDGED OPEN THROTTLE FULLY C AUSING "DANGEROUS LIFE THREATENING" DRIVING STUCK AT FULL THROTTLE. I HAVE THE COVER AND PHOTOS IF YOU WANT ME TO SEND THEM.

Pla stic linage cover Looks to be a 'Clam SHELL' plastic Seam on the Bottom. Th in Plastic Seam has Oxidized and Weakened. Needs to be addressed. Extreme l iability and public relations NightMare of vehicles with throttle Stuck Wid e open crashing in the Future. Would Seem ALL of these covers are due to st art cracking and falling into Throttle linkage. WHAT ACTION HAS YOUR DEALER TAKEN TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE?:Called GreenWood Fo rd in Bowling Green KY. UnKnown Lady was "Flippant" about having to Ask Ser vice Manager about this issue.
