How many had bad head gaskets? Besides the 7M series? And that was because the US required the use of non-asbestos head gaskets. I've crawled throuh many cars, and some of the best built are Toyotas....

Toyota quality
I would still buy a tacoma before i'd buy a ranger. even if they are double the price on the road. My F150 vs. Tundra purchase dilemma has yet to be solved
