obviously i was wrong to ask you guys. transmission is slipping car barely moves. engine and trans were rebuilt at same time by experienced mechanics who build championshimp flattrackers not shade tree monkeys. engine was toned back some so i could run pump gas not a junk car and yes c6 is suppose to be bullet proof but if you put enough power to something sh%$t happens. i was just wanting to be pointed in the right direction of weather it was pump or torque converter. never broke a c6 before and yes i have owned two in two different hotrods dont want to just start changeing parts if they are not broken. trans got new bands and all the goodies upon rebuild torque converter and pump are original items as they usually don't go bad. i came to the net with my question because car does not want to move and i no longer own a trailer to haul it the 60 miles back to were it was rebuilt don't really trust mechanics other than the reputable shop that overhauled the car and myself, and i never tore into an automatic before only manual shifters. but that will change if i can find someone who can answer my question. appriciate the conclusion jumping that i am a non wrench turning dumbass and could be overexagerateing a miner tach rev. not the case! just need advise here thank you sincerely
