93 Sable Wagon/fire

My daughter-in-law returned from a short trip with her kids, parked the wagon and went inside. When she came back out the engine compartment was on
fire, everything completely destroyed. the fire department arrived and said they could not determine cause of fire. this was a 3.8 engine, and was maintained well. anyone have any ideas, or have a good engine for sale? thanks

Probably oil dripping someplace, like on the exhaust pipe.

Car is totalled but you could sell the car, engine and trans for parts
In fact the core of the engine is probably okay.
It's everything else under the hood.
The problem was LIKELY a small fuel line leak, which would spray gas all over the underhood....
