Advice on 1994 Ford Taurus GL Wagon with 174k miles

Someone has given me their 94 Ford Taurus GL Wagon (3.8L V6 automatic,

174k miles). They bought it used with 30k miles from a rental agency and took very good care of it. I lack any self-repair skills but would like to use it for putting around town if it can be repaired for a reasonable amount. Here's what I know:

PAST PROBLEMS: Head gaskets and ignition both replaced due to recall. Transmission rebuilt once. Motor mounts repaired three or four times(!).

PRESENT PROBLEMS: Motor mount loose (this is an ongoing problem). Heater core needs replacing (not a priority). Possible pinhole radiator leak (car does seem to get hot when driving the streets after

20 minutes or so). Windshield wipers only work on high speed. Speedometer lags about 10MPH, so when I'm doing 65 I'm really doing
  1. Otherwise this vehicle is very clean, A/C works great, power locks/seats, good brakes. If we can at least get the motor mount(s) repaired, I would like to think this car has at least 15k safe miles left in it. Am I asking for trouble?

Thanks for any advice...

#1 buy a haynes manual if you dont have one for it.

stop-leak. that will fix a pinhole leak.

if it can be cheaply fixed, good. if not, just use high speed

stock tires? again, something I wouldn't worry about as long as you know it.

yes, but it was free. When it finally dies junk it. just dont put much money into it.
