automatic to manual convertion

I already saw a 89 Grand Marquis with manual trans on the floor. I thought about doing the same thing on my 89 Crown Vic with a 351w.

I know it's possible to do, but what are the prices for that? If I buy the entire kit from a mustang or a pick-up (pedals, trans, clutches...), would it fit or if I have to replace the crossmember and driveshaft too?

I would like to have an idea of the price. I love manual trans, but I won't sell my car for that. Click on the link, you'll understand why.

Ouais, de Saint-Jérôme! Tu dois comprendre mon problème ; Trop beau, trop mis d'argent et d'efforts pour le vendre, et désir de chauffer manuel un char performant.

Tu connais pas une shop performance dans le coin qui pourrait à la fois refaire mon moteur en neuf, 425~475hp MAX et poser une transmission manuelle? En échange, j'ai un autre 351W et un différentiel, et peut-être une transmission dans mon char pour pièces à échanger/vendre.

Mon char marche déjà en masse, mais quand il compresse, ou quand je roule plus de 2200rpm, il semble claquer (à peine) et j'ai un seal de crank à changer. Autant tout sortir et rebuilder à mon goût, mais c'est pas donné. À la sortie de la transmission, j'ai un petit lousse avant le driveshaft qui se fait ressentir sur l'autoroute. Pour 240 000km, il roule encore très bien.

Ces petits désagréments seraient fixés et j'aurais un char "fun" à conduire. Peut-être que le prix va me faire abandonner l'idée.
