Distributor Cap Wiring

I have found 2 distributor cap wiring diagrams (see below) for a 1993 Mustang 5.0?
Block | Cap Dia. 1 | Cap Dia. 2 -------------------------------------------------
4 - 8 | * 1 | * 3 3 - 7 | 5 8 | 7 1 2 - 6 | 4 7 | 2 8 1 - 5 | 2 3 | 6 4 | 6 * | 5 * ------------------------------------------------- Front of Vehicle
Which is the correct one?
Thanks!
Steve

both are. it all depends on what cam you have in the motor. if it is stock, use the specs that are on the hood. otherwise, you need to know what cam you have

A quick google search found this.
5.0L HO This engine was used in 1983-1995 Mustangs, Mark VII Lincolns, and some T-birds and Cougars. All Explorer 5.0L engines are 5.0L HO engines as well. They use the 351W firing order, 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8.
