Ford Windstar Van 95

Hope someone can answer as to what may be wrong.I had traveled about 60 miles and had the air on high.I had put gas in the van about 11 miles before this happened.I stopped at a drive in and let the motor idle. While I was waiting, I saw the engine lite and found that the car had stopped running. I started it again but it was missing so bad it went dead. When the water was checked it was full and the ac fans were running. I thought it must have somthing to do with the heat so I left it and returned about 2 hours later to get important papers from the car. The Van started and had no missing or any trouble with it so I drove home.I was told it could be the gas and went to get somthing to get water out of gas. I am afraid to drive it thinking I might break down or it do the same thing and be in an unsafe place. I am a Female and never had to worry about a safe way to travel before. Any advise would be a big help. Thanks so much

You cant drive with a constant worry... you should have a cell phone.

No matter WHAT you drive you may have a one-time occurrence like that.

Use the drygas product and from now on; ONLY BUY FUEL AT HIGH VOLUME HIGH PROFILE "Branded" STATIONS.

That is.,..this does NOT mean 'national name-brand' (low-volume-name-brand gas MAY be contaminated, too) means the brand has a lot of stations in the area and a lot of customers.

example: Where I live, Speedway is the brand of choice. If they ever had a fuel problem, it would affect MANY people and they would have to own-up.
