Hey Toyota, why can't you sell Toyotas in Europe?

Notice there's no nagging mosquito or teasing here, just one direct and overwhelming statement that proves once and for all there's no such thing as "Toyota quality." If there was, they would dominate the European market too, and the reality is they only control 5% of the market and losing ground.

And then the "rules & regulations" (whoever in government sets them to be impassable) make it nearly a pain to bring in, say, a Fiat or Renault. And don't tell me (because I heard it before) they are no good. The proof is that they outsell, outsmart Toyota.

Who's gonna buy a Toyota having so many choices in Europe...

Even the Czech Republic has more choices.

Did you notice the hottie pushing the baby stroller? She's got the hots for him. I think it was the socks.

That reminds me of someone I knew years ago that said his driving a Saab 900 got him chicks.

A Saab.

A Saab was for those who dared to be different.

I think the main problem with Toyota is that it goes with the flow to make the sheep happy.

If I were a Toyota designer on the other hand...

(maybe I should apply for a job at Toyota, don't you think?)

Do you think Dutch girls who are proud of their bikes will wet their panties when the see an American cowboy in SUV?

I think it's all a matter of perspective.

Why can't we have a road system like in Germany where there's room for the super fast and super slow, like cyclists?

Not super fast all the time, just in certain areas, where the SUVs are restricted to 70 miles, and where we enforce the passing lanes?

Is that something so smart that only the Germans can accomplish? Are we doomed with IDIOCRACY?

Good movie, by the way.

Nope. I think anyone thinking their choice of vehicle will attract a rational member of the opposite sex is an idiot.

Fortunately for car companies, rationality is rarely in the same ballpark as attraction.

Then the people who buy them are just plain dumb.

That's why guys drive SUVs, right?

Nobody sane would drive a jungle vehicle in the middle of the city if it isn't to make girls go wild.

roof is that they outsell, outsmart Toyota.

Toyota dumbs. Family people who drop out from the competition for mates. The Miata on the other hand...

What sane wife would allow her husband to get one?

Reply to
TibetanMonkey, the-Monkey-with

I'd guess that some do, and others actually need one.

Depends on their actual needs, of which I have no idea. You?

Look at this list of "car of the year" nominations and count the ones you can find in America...
