In the San Jose, California area, I talked to several dealers. All were well above sticker, including one who had delivered 17 of them ranging from $3000-5000 over sticker, depending on which clubs and affiliations were used.

I paid MSRP for mine, but it is the only 2005 that the dealer was allocated. There was one nearby that was available (the SJ dealers had markups and waiting lists) for $4000 over sticker.

Here in the L.A. area, there were a few that were charging up to $5000 premium. But most of them stopped when they found out that other Ford dealers in the are were selling at MSRP. Galpin Ford, the largest Ford dealer, never charges a premium on any of their cars. That's were I got mine. Highly recommended. (No, I'm not associated with Galpin in any way.)
