Idle speed motor question

Hi all,
What are the differences between the idle speed motor F0AE-9F715-A2A and F0AE-9F715-A1A?
Are they compatible?
This is for a 87 Town Car , which the calibration sticker is missing...
TIA

It's the same part, the A2A means it has been updated. The A1A will work, but if there was a particular problem that the later A2A was designed too fix, the A1A may show that problem.
