yes my truck has the c-6 e4od in it and i want to take this electronic trans out will it change the speed of it and what other type trans will work

Unless you are ready to replace the ECM and do a bunch of wiring modofications, none. It is a beast of it's own and a damn good trans when it is properly maintained or rebuilt. Exactly what are you trying to accomplish or circumvent by changing to another trans? A 3 speed C6 will royally screw your fuel mileage and the AOD(E) is definitely not an improvement in a truck. BTW, the E4OD is loosely based on the C6 design and some of the parts are event interchangeable but, it is definitely not a C6.
