hello, i have a 1989 ford probe turbo gt and am getting oil sprayed out the passenger side where the timing belt etc.is. oil will actually drip out of my spoiler on that side, but its hard to see where it's coming from. any ideas or suggestions? i wanted to sell this car and its in great shape except for this oil problem that just sprang up.thanks for any info :-) this car never used oil before this and i have 146,000 miles on it.
You can try getting stuff at autozone or walmart to clean your engine (or take it to a steam cleaning place). Once the engine is clean, you can see where it is leaking.
You are probably best off trying to take it to a mechanic first and have her poke around. It might be something easy to fix, like a leaking valve cover gasket.
