Police Interceptor

Does ford (or did they ever) market the police interceptors to average joe consumers such as myself? Because I can't find specs and what not like on other vehicles on any of their websites.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Nic

I've never seen them do so - will they even let private individuals buy them new?

For specs I normally start at

Search the 'Fleet Order Guide' not the 'Dealer Order Guide' to find the information you seek, WBMA. Yes the average Joe can obtain an Interceptor now that it no longer has a federal emission exemption.. Talk to the dealerships Fleet Sales Manager, if it is a small dealership that does not have one speak to the 'General Sales Manager' He can order one as a demo or for his dealer fleet using his 'Z' fleet number. The only difference is when he registers the sale as a 'Retail Sale' the dealership will be charged back the $400 fleet discount and he will expect you to pay the $400. If it is the bucket seats and suspension that you are looking to acquire you may just want to buy a CV Sport instead. The total drive home price will be much less because the CV Sport is offered with a rebate, ZERO interest choice at the present time that is not available to fleet or on fleet models.
