Serpentine belt 95 and such ford taurus and such.

If you cannot put a fairly long wrench on the bolt holding the pully to the tensioner and pull forward and relax the tension on the belt such that it can be removed, then the tensioner arm is broke! Cut the belt with a pair of snips, remove the tensioner and buy a new one. about 60$ at advanced auto.

on my 96 contour(seems pretty much like the same car as the taurus) i had to get under the car and service the belt from there... the accessories are all in the way on the top, no room to move a long handled tensioner wrench to remove or replace the belt... this might be his/her problem?????
