You can take these things to most car accessory shops and they will re-code them for you for about 10. Make sure that you then write the number onto the radio with a big clear marker pen - it will save future owners having to do this all again the first time they remove the battery. These codes were never really successful.
You may also find that your local breakers will sell you a radio for about the same money.
