Can anyone give us pros and cons on Eddie Bauer vs basic explorer? What are the difference? Better overall or just more luxury and better ride? Thanks for any answers.

Eddie Bauer's are basically a dressed up Explorer with a lot of "toys". They do have a higher resale value than a regular Explorer. You should be aware that if it has the SOHC V6, you might want to stay away as this was the first year the engine was introduced and it had a lot of bugs in it. If it has the regular pushrod V6 or the V8, you will be OK.
